Instead I get reddog. DNS suffix when the VM starts. Obviously it's being overwritten by Azure DHCP. I need to shutdown most of my VMs overnight to conserve subscription costs but I also need these settings to be retained so that name resolution of internal & external resources work properly. I haven't found an Azure PS cmdlet that controls this setting.
Have I missed something or do I need to kludge it with a startup script or a GPO? I've searched the forums and but haven't found any reference to other users getting reddog. Appreciate any assistance.
